What our interns say
Mariana Saer, 3rd-year student at Breda University of Applied Sciences, Leisure and Events Management (intern September 2025 – June 2026), about her internship period:
"My internship at CBBE was an incredible experience, both professionally and personally. From the start, I felt like a true member of the team and was encouraged to contribute my own ideas and opinions.
I worked on a wide variety of projects, including organising the annual FAMtrip, Ambassador Network events, and trade shows such as EventSummit. In addition to my marketing and communications responsibilities, I gained valuable experience in project management and stakeholder management. Thanks to Ingeborg's guidance, I was able to shape my own learning journey and discover which responsibilities suited me best. I also had frequent contact with partners and attended various networking events, which further contributed to my professional development.
Working with colleagues from both CBBE and Eindhoven365 was a real highlight. Everyone was willing to share their knowledge and created a supportive and inspiring work environment where I learned something new every day. Alongside the professional development, we also enjoyed plenty of fun team activities, making this internship not only educational but also an unforgettable experience."
Indy van Haarlem:, 3rd-year student at Fontys University of Applied Sciences Eindhoven, Communication
(intern February 2025 – June 2025), about her internship period:
"My internship at Convention Bureau Brainport Eindhoven was a truly hands-on experience. From day one, I was involved in a wide variety of projects and responsibilities. Ingeborg gave me the trust and freedom to work independently from the very beginning, which made me feel like a valued member of the team.
Besides marketing and communication tasks, I attended meetings, trade shows, and partner filming days. This allowed me not only to develop my marketing and communication skills, but also to gain valuable insight into partner relations, event organisation, and the strategic side of the organisation. Thanks to the open atmosphere and the guidance I received, I also grew a great deal on a personal level.
Because Convention Bureau Brainport Eindhoven is part of Eindhoven365, you're surrounded by an even larger team of inspiring colleagues. They genuinely treat you as a colleague, involve you in activities, and are always happy to share their knowledge."
