Convention Bureau Brainport Eindhoven is part of Eindhoven365, Eindhoven's city marketing organization. What you'll do
As a Project Manager Conferences & (Inter)national Events (32-40 hours), you'll work on attracting and managing (inter)national conferences and events. This isn't a traditional sales or senior project management role, but an independent role where you'll maintain oversight, maintain relationships, and coordinate projects from start to finish. Your duties will include:
Investigate which (inter)national conferences fit the strength of Brainport Eindhoven (including high tech, AI, photonics, design and mobility).

Follow up and develop leads into concrete requests and bid processes.

Maintain contact with organizers, companies, knowledge institutions and venues.

Making presentations and proposals to inspire organizations for Brainport Eindhoven as a conference destination.
Forwarding and coordinating requests with partners in the region (hotels, locations, partners).
Participate in projects that increase the international visibility of Brainport Eindhoven, such as FAMtrips, content campaigns and partner communication.
Represent Brainport Eindhoven at international trade fairs (approx. twice a year).
You recognize yourself in the following:
We are looking for a colleague who can work independently, provides structure and feels comfortable in a dynamic, international environment.
You have completed a higher professional education and approximately 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a project-based role, for example within conferences, events, communications, hospitality, DMO or a similar environment
You are ready for a second step in your career and are looking for more responsibility
You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview and easily set priorities
You communicate professionally and easily with various stakeholders
You take on tasks independently and carefully follow up on agreements
You have strong spoken and written skills in both Dutch and English
You feel at home in an innovative environment and an affinity with technology, design or knowledge sharing is an advantage.
Experience with CRM systems or tools such as Cvent is a plus (or you will pick this up quickly)
